Produced in 2025, this David Hockney exhibition poster features a detail from Play Within a Play Within a Play and Me with a Cigarette (2024–2025). The artwork depicts Hockney seated in a colourful garden wearing a leopard-print suit and bright yellow spectacles, surrounded by expressive trees, vibrant brickwork and lush foliage. The painting was unveiled at his major retrospective, David Hockney 25, at Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. A striking example of Hockney's unmistakable approach to colour, portraiture and perspective.
