Designed by Michel Quarez as a New Year greeting for 1999. Quarez often created limited-edition prints to send to friends, collaborators and collectors at the end of each year. The playful image, painted in a deliberately childlike style with bold colours and simple forms, reflects the artist’s distinctive graphic language. Printed as a silkscreen in a small edition, these greeting posters were not commercial advertisements but collectible artworks that have since become sought-after examples of Quarez’s expressive poster design.
