Guy Georget

Guy Georget (1911 – 1992), a renowned French artist who left an indelible mark on the world of graphic art and book illustrations.

His ingenuity caught the eye of Air France in the 1960s, leading to a series of travel posters that, to this day, fetch anywhere from $500 to $2000 as authentic vintage lithographs.

His creative prowess didn't stop there, though; he also lent his skills to designing railway posters and projects for Philips Electric Co. His success as a graphic artist hinged on his ability to stay "au courant" - at the forefront of emerging trends and the ever-evolving artistic landscape. Adapting his style to reflect the zeitgeist, Georget effectively modernized his clients' image, maintaining their appeal to contemporary audiences.

His adeptness at poster art stands as a testament to his exceptional talent.
