An original 1936 Dutch poster by Joop Sjollema for the annual ‘Voor het Kind’ children's charity stamp campaign. Featuring a small child sheltering beside an oversized snowman, the beautifully restrained design uses soft greys with touches of red and blue to convey warmth, protection and childhood vulnerability. Printed by Senefelder in Amsterdam, it is a charming example of pre-war Dutch graphic design.
