This poster was produced to advertise Trans-Australia Airlines, with an edition archived in the National Museum Australia. Although it was common practice for Australian travel advertisements to call on the iconography of boomerangs, we acknowledge that this imagery possesses sensitive and potentially offensive colonial undertones. We would like to recognise this poster as a historical document, and do not support the messaging of its content that is indicative of the period in history in which it was produced.
