Prunelle du Velay

A charming example of post-war French advertising, this original Prunelle du Velay poster was designed by Paul Igert in the 1950s. Featuring a folkloric figure carrying a bottle of the traditional French liqueur amongst wild berries, the design combines bold colours, playful illustration and regional heritage. A highly decorative lithograph that captures the optimism and graphic sophistication of mid-century French poster art.
