This vintage travel poster by Percy Trompf was created in the 1930s, during the golden era of ocean liner and railway travel promotion. Commissioned by the Canadian Pacific Railway and Steamship Company, the poster targeted Australian (or possibly British) travellers returning 'home' via Canada – a scenic, adventurous alternative to the more direct route via the Suez Canal.
