SP Rail: New Orleans

An original 1928 Southern Pacific Lines travel poster by renowned American artist Maurice Logan (1886–1977). Depicting a sunlit courtyard in New Orleans' historic French Quarter, the work captures the city's distinctive architecture and atmosphere through Logan's richly painterly style. Produced during the golden age of railway travel, it is a fine example of American travel advertising that blurred the line between commercial design and fine art.
