Bućan: 31st World Savings Day

Created for the 31st World Savings Day in 1984, this monumental six-panel silkscreen poster was commissioned by Privredna Banka Zagreb as part of an international campaign promoting saving and financial security. Rather than relying on traditional banking imagery, Boris Bućan transformed the commission into a striking work of contemporary graphic art, combining monumental architectural forms with a sculptural central motif rendered in dramatic tones of gold, burgundy and black. Elegant, restrained and powerful, it exemplifies Bućan's unique ability to merge cultural symbolism, modern design and public communication on an architectural scale.
