This vintage poster for the French electronics brand Radiola was created around 1958-1962 by the acclaimed graphic artist Hervé Morvan.
The design promotes Radiola's new colour televisions, cleverly using a cartoon painter character and a colourful palette to visually emphasise the 'colour' aspect of the technology advertised by the slogan 'Maître de la Télévision Couleur' ('Master of Colour Television'). The poster is now a celebrated piece of French mid-century commercial art.
