Foire de Lyon Internationale by Herve Morvan

The Foire Internationale de Lyon 1977 poster was designed by French graphic artist Hervé Morvan, who created many of the fair’s visuals. It features a striking red lion – the city’s emblem – holding a golden globe against a black background, with the event dates printed above. Part of Morvan’s celebrated series for the fair, this design is among the boldest and most minimalist interpretations of Lyon’s symbolic lion.
