A bold 1994 poster by Michel Quarez, Bonjour voisin! created for a civic campaign in Saint-Denis encouraging connection between locals and officials. True to Quarez’s style, it strips everything back to raw, expressive form  – a loose, almost childlike figure and a striking red hand set against a flat green ground. It’s less about literal messaging and more about energy, gesture, and impact, capturing that early–mid ’90s shift in his work toward something more instinctive and emotionally charged.
