An original Boris Bućan exhibition poster created for 'Yugoslav Theatre Posters: Boris Bućan' at the Westpac Gallery, Victorian Arts Centre, Melbourne, in 1987. Produced for the Spoleto Melbourne Festival, the design features a monumental black reclining silhouette set against a stark white background, with the exhibition text flowing across the figure. Minimal, enigmatic and instantly recognisable, it is one of Bućan's finest examples of turning the poster medium into contemporary art.
