This is the 1998 'Love' poster by Yves Saint Laurent, part of his iconic annual series created to mark the New Year.

Unlike some of the more illustrative years, this design leans into bold, graphic simplicity –spelling out 'LOVE' across four coloured blocks in a style reminiscent of pop art and modern typography. The handwritten signature and date along the bottom maintain the personal, intimate feel that defines the series, balancing the otherwise clean, striking composition.
