This poster features Picasso’s painting, Seated Woman, 1953. This is one of Picasso’s last painting of his lover, Francoise. The artist portrays with enormous fantasy the face of his lover which already shows the crisis besetting the couple. In spite of the pleasant colouring, the rigid Cubist style of the forms shows a kind of belligerent attitude towards his lover, whose eyes reveal to us her sadness and independence.
