This poster features Picasso’s work, Children with Doves, 1950. This poster was drawn by Picasso at the request of the National Youth Committee for the meeting they held in Paris, sponsored by the magazine, Les Partisans de la Paid. For the poster’s composition, he used a lithograph in a classical style with a dove and an olive branch held by two children. Picasso used the dove as a symbol of fraternity and union. The original artwork print was auctioned in the Galerie Kornfield, Bern, on June 20, 1991, and the opening price was 25,000 Swiss francs.
