Monotype (series) by Antoni Tapies

Antoni Tàpies, the 1st Marquess of Tàpies was a painter, sculptor and art theorist, who was one of the most important artists of his generation. He helped co- found a Post- War school of art called Dau al Set, which was connected to the Dadaist and Surrealist movements. 

An original lithograph on smooth wove paper by Tapies from Derrière Le Miroir No. 210 published in June 1974 for the exhibition of 36 monotypes of TAPIES at the Galerie Maeght, Paris. Printed by Imprimerie Maeght, Levallois-Perret, published by Maeght Editeur, Paris.
