Claude Garache, born 1929, is a French artist. He has worked in painting, sculpture, illustration and engraving. His principal subject is the female nude. Much of his work uses a single colour on a monochrome background, very often blood-red on white. In 1977, The Galerie Maeght exhibited his works in Paris. This was the poster produced to advertise the exhibition. 

The Galerie Maeght is a gallery of modern art in Paris that displays primarily French and Spanish artworks.
