La Guerre Des Buttons (The War of Buttons) is a 1962 French film about two rival childhood gangs, whose playful shenanigans eventually escalate to full- blown violence. The name of the film is from the act of taking a button from the loosing gang's shirts, as a trophy of sorts. 

Raymond Savignac (1907- 2002) was a French graphic designer and poster artist. He is best known use of simple yet humourous design, simple lines, as well as his clever and constant use of colour. His style is almost elementary, yet overwhelmingly joyful. His career lasted 50 years, in which he produced in excess of 600 unique poster designs.
